From Vision to Reality: Dhamaka Arts and the Expanding Horizons Programme

As the founder of Dhamaka Arts, a company dedicated to creating work for queer people of colour, I am thrilled to be participating in the Bradford Producing Hub’s Expanding Horizons Programme. This bespoke business development initiative is designed to empower arts and culture organisations in the Bradford district, and I am eager to leverage its resources to enhance the sustainability and impact of Dhamaka Arts.

About the Expanding Horizons Programme

The Expanding Horizons Programme offers a comprehensive suite of support, including:

  • Group Coaching Sessions: Collaborative learning experiences with fellow arts organisations.
  • 1-2-1 Mentoring: Personalised guidance to address specific organisational needs.
  • Training and Development: Sessions focusing on business development, leadership skills, financial accounting, and more.

Upon completion, participants gain access to an £8,000 fund to invest in further development work based on needs identified during the programme. connectyorkshire.org
